Fredericton mayoral candidate Matthew Hayes released a video this week explaining the meaning of a complete community and how the idea can benefit Fredericton. It is the first plank in Hayes' "Great Ideas" platform, a list of twelve core policies that focus on the city being a cleaner, more user-friendly environment for its citizens.
Hayes, a sociology professor at STU, threw his hat in the mayoral ring a few weeks ago with the official launch of his campaign to a standing room only crowd at the Cedar Tree Cafe downtown. Since then he's been rolling out his platform ideas in weekly events around the city. To find out more about Hayes and where he'll be next, visit his website http://hayesformayor.ca/
