As
part of the royal visit, the provincial government hosted a media
reception for those covering the New Brunswick leg of the tour. After
the Prince and the Duchess landed at the airport and reporters filed
their stories, the reception was a place for media to unwind and get
acquainted. The Premier came in to say hello at 10 pm shortly before
things closed down. He spent several minutes talking and laughing with
the British contingent of photographers in town covering the royal
roadshow.
