The Green Party of New Brunswick is holding a public discussion forum entitled, "Occupy Politics: Getting the Democracy We Want in New Brunswick," on Friday March 23 at 7:30 pm in Fredericton at the Wu Conference Centre on the UNB Campus. Admission is free.
Invited panelists and the audience will be invited to discuss how we can 'do politics' differently in New Brunswick so that it serves the public interest - so that it works for ordinary people.
Panelists will include Jean-Claude Basque from the Common Front for Social Justice, Matthew Hayes from Occupy New Brunswick, Roy Ries from Democracy for New Brunswick, David Coon from CCNB Action, Leah Levac of Renaissance College and Julia Linke, an anti-fracking activist.
This is the second public forum hosted by the Green Party of New Brunswick. The first examined the proposed sale of NB Power.
