The Federation of Canadian Municipalities will be hosting a one and a half day workshop in Fredericton, March 2nd and 3rd, 2012, providing campaign training for women in New Brunswick.
The workshop will cover a wide range of topics, including: deciding to run, financing the campaign, campaign ethics, canvassing, public speaking, and media training.

Residents are invited to take part in celebrations surrounding International Women's Day on Sunday, March 4, 2012, at the Dieppe Arts and Culture Centre.
Featured will be a presentation by Huberte Gautreau of the New Brunswick Pay Equity Coalition beginning at 2 p.m. The day ends with a reception, refreshments and musical performances by Chantal LeBlanc, Monique Aubé and Tracey Richard, all students in the Université de Moncton's music department. Admission is free.
