NB Green Party to hold AGM in Fredericton

The Green Party of New Brunswick is holding its Annual General Meeting at the newly restored train station (380 York) in Fredericton on Saturday March 24, 2012 beginning at 8:30 am.  Interim Leader Greta Doucet will speak, policy resolutions will be debated and voted on, and the rules for its upcoming leadership race will be presented.

The Green Party of New Brunswick was established in November 2008.  Its founding meeting was held in Moncton.  The new party ran 49 candidates in 2010 in its first provincial election under the leadership of Jack MacDougall, capturing 4.5% of the popular vote.
