A public meeting on shale gas will be held Sunday, October 23 at 1:30 pm upstairs in the Unitarian Universalist Church of Saint John at 545 Sandy Point Road.*
An hour of presentations on "fracking" (hydraulic-fracturing) for shale gas will contrast with the New Brunswick Department of Natural Resources promotional website on the subject. Questions from the floor will be welcomed by a panel of lay people who have researched the subject.
*Directions: From Crown St., head north; continue onto Mt. Pleasant Ave and then Hawthorne Ave, and turn right onto Sandy Point Road. Destination will be on the right. A shale gas sign will mark the entrance.
