According to an RCMP media release on July 25, 2011, one or more persons vandalized a number of seismic recording devices overnight between July 23 and 24, located in the area of Cumberland Bay, New Brunswick. In the press release, the RCMP requested anyone with any information to contact the District 2 detachment in Oromocto.
We followed up with the RCMP on the vandalism complaints today. According to Codiac RCMP media relations, the investigation is ongoing, however, there is nothing to report at this time. There was also no comment on when the investigation would be completed.
