Ramada Inn manager weighs in on PMB delay

The Ramada Inn in Lower St. Mary's has suffered the most as a business due to the delays on repairing the Princess Margaret Bridge. It has been hard for the hotel to do any strategic planning or bank on bookings with customers reluctant to take their business to the hotel without the convenience of access the bridge normally provides.

With a rumour swirling that the bridge may be closed again in 2012, the Ramada's management officials were begging the SNC-Lavelin and government reps to warn the hotel if they are going to do further repairs in order for the hotel to draw up plans in advance to anticipate problems.
