Rally and March to Stop Shale GasWhen: Saturday, June 2, 11am to 1pm
Where: March begins at Highfield Square. Gather behind the old Sobey's to walk down Main Street. (Parking in the back) to the rally location outside Moncton City Hall at 655 Main St.
Marchers will start at Highfield Square at 11 am, and proceed down Main Street to Moncton City Hall. They will distribute information pamphlets as they walk. Spectators and supporters can also go directly to Moncton City Hall at 11 am to catch the beginning of the Speak Out Rally. In addition to introductory comments, the Raging Grannies of Kent County will entertain and participants can sing along! The Marchers will join the rally in progress, to hear several key speakers on topics such as how shale gas development affects our environment and human health.
