Letters to the Editor

Since August 10th, New Brunswickers have peacefully gathered together every Thursday between 11 am and 1 pm in front of the Centennial Building in Fredericton, the workplace of the New Brunswick government with a loud and clear message: “No Shale Gas!”

This Thursday, November 17, marks our 15th and final Shale Gas Sidewalk Protest. It will at the same time mark a new beginning.  As we are quickly approaching the opening of the Legislature on November 23, we are preparing to bring our message to the Legislature!  Our goal is within sight and the countdown is on.  We have a stake in this decision: We want an end to hydro-fracking now!

This Thursday, between 11 am and 1 pm, we will form a final rally with closing remarks, signs and drums and important announcements for the week coming up.
